Alpenfest Parade

The Alpenfest Grand Parade is held the 3rd Saturday in July during Gaylord's week-long Alpenfest Celebration.  The Gaylord Marching Band performs traditional viennese music which ties into the Alpine theme. 

Students should report to the parade start (corner of 2nd St. and Illinois St.) at 11:15am to warm-up and line-up.  Dress for the parade is Khaki shorts, the previous year's marching show shirt, short white socks, and comfortable tennis shoes.

Memorial Day

The Gaylord High School Marching Band traditionally performs at the Memorial Day Parade and Veteran's Service on the Otsego County Lawn.  The parade will start at the VFW at 10:00am.

Students should report to the high school band room at 9:00am to pick up their marching uniform, dress, load equipment, and load busses.  After the parade and service, all students are expected to ride the busses back to the high school and turn in their complete uniform.
