Welcome to the High School Bands Webpage!!!

The Gaylord High School Bands have a long tradition of musical excellence and pride!  The bands have performed around the United States and abroard, including Carnegie Hall and Vienna.  Band members have a variety of music performance opportunities:  Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, Chamber Music, and Honors Groups.

The Gaylord Wind Ensemble recently won the 1st Place Prize in Division 2A at the 2008 Smoky Mountain Music Festival in Gatlinburg, TN!!!

The bands are supported by a very active parent booster group.  They believe that an education in the arts is important for a well-rounded education and human development.  This important group is crucial to the success of the program!
