Gaylord Middle School Bands will be performing their MSBOA Pre-Festival program on Thursday evening, 7pm in Gornick Auditorium at Gaylord HS.  Check in time for all students is 6:30.

The MSBOA Band Festival is being held the weekend of Feb. 29-Mar. 1 at Petoskey MS, 801 Norhtmen Drive.  Follow Mitchell Strett to Hill St. , turn right and then left onto Northmen Drive.  The schedule is as follows:

February 29, 7th Grade Gold Band, 6:25 performance

March 1, 7th Grade Blue Band, 9:25am performance

March 1, 8th Grade Band, 12:00pm performance

Welcome to the Gaylord Middle School Band's homepage.  Our program consists of the 7th Grade Blue Band, the 7th Grade Gold Band and the 8th Grade Concert Band.  We are an active member of the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association and partcipate in District 2 Band Festival , District 2 MS Honors Band, District 2 Solo and Ensemble and have students auditioning for the All-State MS Honors Band.  In addition we partcipate in two GMS Basketball Spirit Games and the annual Gaylord Community Schools Halloween Parade.  In addition we three performances throughout the year:  a Holiday Collage Concert, a Pre-Festival Concert and our Spring Concert.  In addition, this year the 8th Grade Marching Band will be performing on October 19th with the Gaylord High School band during that game's pre-game.
